Join us for the Digital Life conference in Oslo 11 November!

Screenshot conference video

Last year we met online for the annual conference for the Centre for Digital Life Norway (DLN). This year we hope to meet physically in Oslo!

11 NOVEMBER we invite members of Digital Life Norway projects to a know-how workshop on intellectual property rights (IPR) in digital biotech; a plenary event on how we can strengthen Norwegian biotechnology with inspiring talks on omics, gender equality and transdisciplinarity; and social gathering in Oslo Science Park. You are also welcome to schedule cross-project meetings to discuss collaboration to apply for funding from the centre.

We invite all Digital Life Norway projects to contribute with a 1-minute video to be shown before and at the conference.

10 NOVEMBER seven young researchers affiliated with the centre will talk about their work at the public event "Data analyses that save lives – science not fiction" which is tailored towards a young audience.

All the talks at the conference will be streamed.

We will follow any local and national COVID-19 regulations at the conference, thus changes to the programme might occur.
See the overview of events and sign up for one or more parts. Registration deadline: 28 October.

New funding for researchers affiliated with the centre

Several researchers affiliated with the Centre for Digital Life Norway (DLN) were granted funding from the Research Council of Norway in June. Among the newly funded projects is a project in precision cancer medicine resulting from matchmaking facilitated by the centre. Also the initial launch phase of the gigantic Earth BioGenome Norway initiative was granted funding. The DLN procedure for how researchers may join the centre with new projects, is in pipeline.
