It’s hard to believe that the holiday season is once again upon us. My apologies for not writing sooner; I’ve been very happily preoccupied with family visits and painting, resin-ing and… drum roll… making jewelry!
After Newport, RI gallerist Jessica Hagen saw a bracelet I had made this summer, she called me to action! I dutifully heeded, and guess what? A whole new creative avenue opened up for me. I rediscovered a passion for creating jewelry (I studied at the Geological Institute of America many years ago and worked for designer Angela Cummings) and a new passion for working with metals. My first collection of semi-precious gemstone earrings and beaded bracelets, resin, as well as whimsical butterfly pieces are now exclusively available from Jessica Hagen Fine Art & Design. If you are not available to visit the gallery, Jessica does virtual/video tours. Supplies are limited; most pieces are one-of-a-kinds. I hope you will find just what you need for the holidays.
It has also been a pleasure this year exploring new avenues for my resin applications to further express my fascination with water themes. My ‘Water Garden’ continues to grow in vibrant blues and in both small and larger formats. Acrylic paints have a relief effect under a glossy finish, similar to method of glass under-painting. All are available through Jessica Hagen Fine Art & Design
HERE’S WISHING YOU THE VERY BEST FOR THE HOLIDAYS & ALWAYS!
