We had to do a little juggling for this one. Fortunately, we have destinations like JR’s Runway Cafe at Sebring Municipal (KSEF). Cindy and the staff there are always ready to accommodate us, even on relatively short notice! The same is true of Jason Ali and his crew at The Sebring Flight Center… the FBO. The Old Farts Flying Club will be descending on them this Thursday, February 17th. As has become our norm, let’s spread our arrivals out over breakfast and lunch.
I’ve taken a peek at Thursday’s weather. It looks like warmer temps and VFR conditions all over south Florida. The only downside is a call for winds of ten to twenty knots. The good news there is, they are from the southeast and Sebring has a runway 14.
Don’t forget to mark your calendar for our event next week, Thursday, February 24th at Aero Acres (FD88). I will have a detailed invitation out later this week. It will include an RSVP button… VERY IMPORTANT! We fed nearly 250 people at this one last year, and we MUST have a count for catering by noon on Monday, February 21st!!! Watch for my invitation later this week!
I have included a couple other “Flying Opportunities” at the end of this text.
Keep the Shiny Side Up!
