New Sermon series beginning February 3:  “Face to Face With Jesus”
Exploring the fascinating, life-changing encounters people had with Jesus.
Presbyterian Pilgrimage #74

Heighten your joy, deepen your faith and invigorate your life in Christ at Pilgrimage #74 on March 14-17 at beautiful Camp Saint Christopher on Seabrook Island. Jesus often led His disciples to a quiet place for rest and reflection (Mark 6:30-32). Set aside this time to focus on your own spiritual pilgrimage. The leadership team is composed of clergy and lay persons who have previously attended a weekend and are trained to serve in a leadership role. Every Pilgrimage weekend is built upon a foundation of prayer. Please pray that all who attend will be strengthened in their faith and enabled to impact the world for Christ.

Pilgrimage is a short course on living the Christian life, designed to provide a framework for the development of Christian leaders in the local church and community. Please prayerfully consider if God is calling you to this retreat. Registration forms are due by February 21.

What a great year we have had with operation Christmas Child. We filled and sent 363 Gospel Opportunity boxes to reach children with the love of Jesus Christ. What a blessing to know 363 more children received boxes and will spread it out to many more. Each box has the potential to spread the Gospel at least 9 times.

We have more exciting news that will bring Operation Christmas Child directly to us.  Vladmir Prohenvski, a full circle young person, will be at Harbour Lake Baptist Church on February 3rd at 5 PM. He will tell his story of how he received his box and the impact it had on his life in learning about the love of God and accepting Jesus as his Lord and Savior. If you are interested in going, please contact Marynell Wallace at or 843-817-0691. We do hope you will want to come hear Vladimir’s story; it is sure to be an exciting one.

We will continue to collect items for our packing party in November. These suggestions are for you to use if you want to pack your own boxes as well. These items can be placed in the Operation Christmas Child Barrel in the cry room. Also, if you took boxes and did not bring it back for the collection time, you may return them to the workroom. Also if you took it to another location, please let Marynell know of that.

February: Toothbrushes and toothbrush holders. Please remember we can no longer send toothpaste or mouthwash.
