BC has announced its reopening plan. Other provinces have been doing this over the last two weeks. The Globe and Mail is keeping track of reopening progress in each province in this article.
 
The McConnell Foundation has announced two new funding streams, supporting the non-profit sector: COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund to assist with immediate needs not covered by government programs, and a new stream of the Social Innovation Fund, Organizational Rebuilding, to help in the rebuilding period which will be required in the coming months.
 
Ontario: WholeNote magazine is calling for short responses from artists and arts organizations to be a part of their ‘Community Voices’ project detailing stories on the arts during COVID-19.

The Music4Life Ensemble have moved their teaching and rehearsals online. They're working towards recordings, like this one they made of the theme from Star Trek.
 
Northumberland Orchestra and Choir have been sharing past performances through their social media.
 
The Kingston Symphony has produced this recording of the finale of Beethoven’s Eroica.
 
The Orchestre Métropolitain is launching its first-ever composition competition. Young Canadian composers are invited to submit a proposal of an original work for orchestra which embodies what Beethoven has represented to the world throughout the centuries. Each winning work will be performed at one of four concerts in the OM's Beethoven Marathon, closing their 2020-21 season.
