These couple of months see plenty of events and opportunities to look out for, including Producers Social #11, in the format of a producing clinic with veteran producer and arts manager Tay Tong, and our second MY
SG Producers Exchange, taking place in collaboration with CausewayEXchange.

Producing Clinic
with Tay Tong

In this two-part clinic, don't miss the opportunity to tap on veteran producer and arts manager Tay Tong's 30 years of experience working in the arts, as former Managing Director, TheatreWorks and former director, Arts Network Asia.

Part 1: One-on-one consultation with Tay Tong
Submit your project details via the open call form by Sunday, 12 August 2018. Tay Tong will select up to 3 projects for which he will provide a one-on-one consultation session, to be arranged separately before the Producers Social.

Part 2: Producing Clinic, 27 August 2018
The discussions from Part 1 will culminate in a peer-sharing and Q&A session during the Producers Social, with Tay Tong and other Social attendees. L
earn about the critical steps in gestating a project successfully from concept to creative development and outcome, and catch a glimpse of upcoming / prospective projects by independent practitioners. (No need for #FOMO either – you don't have to be involved in Part 1 to attend Part 2!)

1.1 Open Call for Producing Clinic with Tay Tong 
Call for submissions of new project ideas or ongoing projects for a producing clinic with veteran producer Tay Tong. 3 projects will be picked for a private one-on-one consultation process, which will culminate in a subsequent sharing session at Producers Social #11 on Monday, 27 August 2018. Submissions across practices and disciplines, from practitioners of all ages and experience levels welcome. Submit by 12 August. ☞ Application Details

1.2 SS #4: Getting Those Grants

Organised by the Working Group for Dancers' Advocacy (Singapore) in partnership with Dance Nucleus, as part of the WGDA-DN Survival Series, featuring a  grants briefing with the NAC Dance sector team, followed by a  WGDA-facilitated discussion and workshop, where participants will work on a sample application together.

1.3 ADAM Annual Meeting 2018
The Asia Discovers Asia Meeting for Contemporary Performance, or ADAM Meeting, takes place from 15 August – 2 September 2018. Online registration for their various programmes is now open. 1.4 Asian Producers' Camp in Indonesia
The Asian Producers' Platform (APP) Camp will take place in Yogyakarta and Jakarta in Indonesia, from 31 October – 6 November 2018. The Camp offers participants the opportunity to research and explore local contexts in Asia, develop inter-cultural practice, and explore producing as creative practice. 1.5 Atelier Valletta (Atelier for Young Festival Managers)
The Festival Academy has opened the call for applications for the 15th edition of the Atelier for Young Festival Managers, which will take place from 23 – 29 March 2019, in Valletta, Malta.  Up to 35 selected participants  will participate in the 7-day training programme during which they will discuss various aspects of festival management with renowned festival managers from pioneering festivals and outstanding art centres and institutes from all over the world. Apply by 15 September. ☞ Application Details

2.1 Creative Facilitator (Asia), Mekong Cultural Hub
Mekong Cultural Hub and British Council are seeking a creative facilitator from Asia–who will collaborate with another creative facilitator from the UK–to support the two organisations in designing the SEAΔ Programme, and to co-facilitate the first year of the programme. 2.2 Marketing & Communications Executive, Raw Moves
Raw Moves is looking for a creative, independent team player with the ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities: Creating marketing collateral; managing social media and website updates; producing press releases; co-ordinating with graphic agencies and production houses; and working closely with the Artistic Director, Company Manager, and Production Manager.

Requirements: At least a diploma / 2 years' experience in a relevant field; strong verbal and written communication skills; strong knowledge of computer software (e.g., Word, Excel, basic design software) would be excellent. Good interpersonal skills and an interest in the arts would be an advantage.

MY ⇋ SG is a series of network meetings between producers in Singapore and Malaysia, coordinated by Producers SG. Join us for our second session, co-hosted by CausewayEXchange 2018, as we collectively attempt to address these questions and map new possibilities.
