The cabinets for our makerspace and STEAM lab are almost constructed and we just can’t wait! Once we have storage and desk space, we can find a home for the quality art and high tech maker supplies.
Our creator desks and stools have arrived and our 3D Printer/Laser Engraver is on the way! We are getting closer to 100% completion on the lower level at CornerStone Community & Youth Center.
ENTREPRENEUR OPPORTUNITY
Research continues as we construct our Entrepreneurial Program as well! We have been granted a research student from the University of Minnesota Central Regional Sustainable Development Partnership with exceptional experience in entrepreneurial development, both in her personal and educational background. Stay tuned for updates as we design a process for our youth to learn about business practices, create a product they are passionate about, and develop skills they can use the rest of their lives.
As our makerspace opens up, we will also be offering the Center to rent for classes, workshops, parties and events.
