Dear MMA families,
As you prepare to welcome your cadets home for winter furlough, I want to share a video from Dr. Victoria Snider, mother of a MMA alumnus and member of our MMA Board of Trustees and executive committee. As a clinical psychologist and MMA mom, she offers keen insight on what to expect and how to support your cadet during the furlough.

When I watched her video, my reaction immediately was that her comments are spot on. My wife Kathy and I experienced the same things when two of our sons attended military school for eight years.
I thank Dr. Snider for sharing her honest, encouraging and heartfelt view of the courage that parents must have to support their sons' MMA journey.
Enjoy the time at home with your cadets over the furlough, and remember that your sons' transformation and education at MMA is a process. You will see progress now, but the true results and rewards happen when he reaches MMA graduation and continues his journey into college and beyond.
Our partnership, transparency and frequent communication to support your cadet are key to his success. Thank you for being part of the MMA family.
Sincerely,

Richard V. Geraci
