On April 1, the Government of Canada announced details for the proposed Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy program offering a 75 per cent wage subsidy for qualifying businesses, for up to 3 months, retroactive to March 15, 2020. The Orchestre classique de Montréal has announced weekly concerts with their 2020-21 soloists, broadcasting on their Facebook page throughout April and May.

The Orchestre Philharmonique de la Relève du Québec performs Elgar's Chanson de matin.

Symphony Nova Scotia ran a takeover Q & A on their Twitter account with their new music director, Holly Mathieson.
